Returns / Exchange

Lamp and Shade Works offers a no-hassle return and exchange policy. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, return it and Lamp and Shade Works will promptly refund your money (excluding your cost of returning the package to Lamp and Shade Works). Simple follow the instructions below:

  1. Returns cannot be accepted beyond 30 days from the original shipping date.
  2. Products eligible for return must be new, unused, unaltered (with no clipped or cut wires) and contain all original product packaging and accessories. Products must be repackaged properly in the original packaging. Products not in original condition will not be accepted for return.
  3. Contact Lamp and Shade Works for a Return Authorization Number prior to returning the product. Products will not be accepted without a Return Authorization Number. 1-866-409-1007
  4. Indicate your Return Authorization Number on the packing slip and include your packing slip with your return.
  5. Write your Return Authorization Number on a blank piece of paper and securely tape it to the outside of the package to be returned.
  6. Returns must be shipped prepaid and insured directly to Lamp and Shade Works. If the return or exchange is due to a Lamp and Shade Works error, we will pay for the cost of shipping. Please contact Lamp and Shade Works customer service for return authorization and instructions. 1-866-409-1007

Regardless of where your package was shipped, returns must be delivered to the address above. Returns made to any other address may not be refunded or could result in additional fees.

Payment Options

Lamp and Shade Works accept American Express, MasterCard and Visa.

Since we ship from multiple distribution centers, the items on your order may arrive at separate times. In accordance with our payment terms, items scheduled to ship within 30 days of the order date are charged full at the time of the order. Items with estimated ship dates beyond 30 days of the order date are charged 50% at the time of the order, with the remaining balance charged at time of shipment.

Sales Tax

Lamp and Shade Works collects sales tax on orders shipped to New Jersey. We do not charge sales tax on any orders shipped to other locations.

Cancellations

We go out of our way to ship as quickly as possible and will make every attempt to cancel your order. However, many of our products ship direct from the manufacturer to you.

In the event that you would like to cancel your order, we will need to confirm with the individual manufacturer that your order has not been shipped. Once we have confirmation that your order has been cancelled, we will credit your account.

If we were not able to cancel your order and it has already been shipped, please do not refuse the shipment as this could result in cancellation fees being assessed. Please contact Customer Service for return instructions

Damaged Merchandise

If you receive damaged merchandise, we will strive to make the replacement process quick and easy. Be sure to notify both the carrier and Lamp and Shade Works within 24 hours of delivery to report the damage. Please keep all packing materials. Shipping & Delivery

To make buying from us simple, shipping and handling within the contiguous U.S. (UPS ground or common carrier) is free of charge. Please contact Customer Service for Alaska, Hawaii and International shipping costs. If you need faster delivery, you can arrange for overnight or second day delivery. Contact Customer Service for more information and costs. Many products are ready to ship within two days of your order, while others are manufactured when you place the order. Once your order is placed, shipping date(s) will be e-mailed to you. We cannot deliver to P.O. Box locations free of charge.
